Legal Question in Consumer Law in California

Small Claims Judgement Clarification

I won a small claims case as the plaintiff. I was issued a judgement of 3000.00 plus courts costs of 50.00. My case was: I disputed a contract with a local store on goods purchased and found were faulty so when I returned them the owner refused to refund the purchase(which I made with a credit card).I had long before paid my credit card statement, so I called to file complaint with my credit card co. and they put the 3K paid to the merchant back in my account until the outcome of the case. So when I won the case the credit card co. credited my account for the 3K and the merchant is aware of this fact. But the merchant has yet to pay the court costs owed me. What do I do. I have already written the merchant asking for payment & he will not mail it to me & wants me to claim money at his business & sign the Acknowledgemnt of Satisfaction of Judgement on the spot. I think this is not right. What can I do? Thank you for any help!
