Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
small claims question.
Hi,
I ordered a product from a private that i paid through paypal a month and a
half ago.
I live in California and he lives in Washington state.
I still have to receive the product and he keeps on telling me he can't afford
to send the product to me because he's ''broke'', when i specifically added
money for shipping and handling.
I've been thinking to direct appeal to the small claims court, since the value is
less than 5000$, but i'd like to know if I have to do it here in california or in
washington state.
Thanks a lot for your help.
Take care,
R.
