Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
i sold a car i am a private owner in CA ad the buyer is suing me for damages done to the car. His attorney says that on the car fax report there is no damages but i failed to mention that there were 4,000 dollars of damages that I have had no clue off.
Does he have a legal right to sue me in a as is state, about something that I am not aware of th car i sold ever being in an accident?

Yes. All it takes to file a lawsuit is the filing fee and a summons and complaint. While he has the right to sue you, winning his case is another matter.
