Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
I sold an iPhone 4 on craigslist for 160 and told them I would give them a refund if they had any trouble activating it. They called me saying they got it activated. Now they are saying they are filing a police report because I will not refund them. They said they are having a sound problem with it and will not give me any further details. This is after they told me they got it activated and set up ok. I sold it via craigslist. Can they actually file a police report? I'm 17 and won't be 18 for 6 more months.

It is not likely the police will take any interest in the buyers report
