Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
My son who lives with me from time to time is 34 years old a grown man.he was attacked and taken to the hospital where he stayed a couple of days. he has no insurance we got the hospital bill and they are in my name i do not understand this. why am i responsible for his bills? he takes care of himself i did not give anyone permission or say i would pay his bills.

Even though he is your child you are not responsible for him after he is 18 years old unless he is incompetent. You should remind the hospital billing department of this and tell them not to bother you anymore.
