Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
Steven Kay
I live in richmond ca. I enrolled in a masterclass online. the home office of the masterclass is in phoenix ca. I made an initial payment for the masterclass by visa Phoenix. they emailed me a contract. In the contract, it said after I signed the contract, all funds were non-refundable. I did not sign the contract and did not do the masterclass. They do not want to give me my money back.
Can I sue them in Contra Costa California Small Claims Court or do I have to go to Arizona to sue?

You may be able to sue in CA, but in order to collect anything you will have to get the CA judgment turned into an AZ judgment. So you may as well just sue in AZ.
