Legal Question in Consumer Law in California

Tainted comestible

I recently purchased (February 17 2009) a jar of miniature shrimp from my local market. When I got home I found a hair inside with the shrimp. I did not open the product; it is still sealed. The hair is visible through the transparent casing. This is quite disturbing since the hair, based on length and appearance, appears to be pubic. This is extremely unsanitary and appalling. Please advice what kind of legal action can be taken against the maker, seller, or distributor. Thank you.

Re: Tainted comestible

Ask for a refund of your money. Write to the manufacturer and tell it of your concerns.
