Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
TARR UCC - Does this apply to used cars too?
(TARR) The Uniform Commercial Code - Does this apply to used cars too?
I just posted a question about a used car bought ''As is'' on Ebay. I was hoping both Tender and Rejection terms would work for me. The car broke down on the way home from collecting it from the shipper. It is also not in the condition that it was advertised as being in. Car was advertised as being in good running condition, with great exterior, nice convertible top and fair interior. The top needs to be replaced (rip on the top, cracked and rotting), crack in windsheild and 2 windows don't close properly. Non of this was disclosed in the add.... and now the car is inoperable. The pictures in the add make the car look like its in excellent condition.
What can I do?
