Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
Wedding double booking
We reserved a location for our wedding and reception in June of 2007. Our weding is June 2008. Our contract states that we have the venue the day before the wedding day for the rehearsal. The venue just contacted us today 12/17/07, stating they booked a wedding on the night of our rehearsal. They want us to move our rehearsal to another day. Can they do this? What are our rights?
Thanks.

Re: Wedding double booking
You probably have some leverage to negotiate with them (though the full contract would have to be reviewed).
