Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
If your wife ows on a credit card and she has not paid it, now the credit card says that they are going to sue her. She does not work and I am not on her card. Can they win and get a judgment against me?

If this was a debt incurred during the marriage, it is a community debt. If you are not on te card, they could not sue you but they might might be able to garnish your wages. You wages are a community property asset that her creditor can attach.
