Wrong price charged now business wants money

I bought an item several months ago and was charged the wrong amount. Now business discovered discrepancy and is asking for the amount due.

It depends on what your agreement was. If the agreement was for the higher amount, you would be obligated to pay that full amount. If an advertisement upon which you relied erroneously contained a lower amount and that's what you paid, then the company has no ground to ask you for more money.
