Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
If you couldn't do it, why did yousay you could
Got my engine put in my car by a local mechanic and began to have problems right after. Finally took it to the dealer a found out it was put in wrong. Took it back to the mechanic to have it reinstalled and found out he had never worked on my type of car and really didn't know for sure what he was doing. It has been three weeks and I still haven't got my car bac yet. What should I do? Can I sue him for fraud or misrepresentation.

you can bring action under negligence and breach of warranties. If you get it repaired elsewhere will be able to collect contract/market differential plus possible loss of use. Contact me if you have any other questions.
