Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

30 minutes ago my husband and i found out our county sheriff office has a lein on our bank accounts. We have no idea what is going on and the credit union could not answer any questions. I can not pay someone to answer question on line because i can no longer use my debit card. Can anyone help?

Go online or physically to your local courthouse and search your name to see who has a judgment against you. Once you determine that information, the number of the case, and the name of the plaintiff's attorney and contact information, communicate with an attorney about what your options might be.
