Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

7 year ago my landlord won a judgement on me. They never contacted me where to send payments. Now seven years later a collection agency is threating a garnish mentioned stating they have a judgement. Can they use the judgement from for my old landlord to garnish my wages?
