Re: Abstract of judgement?

An Abstract of Judgment is a form used by a judgment creditor to get a lien on real property. It is a court certification that a judgment has been entered in a lawsuit. The judgment creditor then records the Abstract in any county where the debtor may own real property. It creates a lien on any property in the name of the judgment debtor as stated on the Abstract of Judgment.
