Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

Answer to Unverified Complaint

I understand that one can Answer generally if the Complaint is unverified.

In filing an Answer to an unverified Complaint, is it advantageous to answer generally, or might it still be best to specify Affirmative Defenses?

Any other insight would be helpful.

Thank you.

Both. Answer generally, and assert affirmative defenses, if appropriate.
