Who needs to attend a motion hearing?

In keeping up with my case online, I read that a ''Hearing on Motion to/for Judgment on the pleadings filed by Arrow Financial Services LLC'' is scheduled for Feb. 22, 2008. I'm assuming this motion was asked for by the plaintiff. My question is do I need to attend?

There's information left out. Did you file an answer to the complaint? Did you ever file an opposition to the motion for judgment on the pleadings? Perhaps if you go to the hearing, you can ask the judge to delay a decision so that you can get an attorney to assist you. Make sure you also check the court's tentative rulings and notify opposing counsel immediately (at least before 5 p.m. the day before the hearing) that you intend to appear to contest it if it's not in your favor.
