Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California
Does an attorney have a responsibility to a third party who has a lien against his clients civil lawsuit which has no settled? The attorney has been notified of my lien but has not contacted me. It's been over 60 days since a settlement was reached and I have not heard nothing?

No duty whatsoever unless a proper levy has been placed on the attorney's account with the client AND the settlement funds actually go into the attorney's hands.
