Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

Authentication of Documents/Alamenda County

I've gotten my Request for Entry of Judgment rejected twice now, because my ''Documents were not authenticated''. I had my 585 Declaration notarized. Anyone know what they REALLY mean?

Re: Authentication of Documents/Alamenda County

Authentication means that you have to explain to the court how the documents may be admitted to evidence, i.e.:

"I received this letter on 12/25/08, and have maintained this letter in the ordinary course and scope of my business. Attached hereto as Exhibit A is a true and complete copy of such letter."

"I sent a letter to XXXX on 12/25/08. Attached hereto as Exhibit B is a true and complete copy of such letter."

"Attached hereto as Exhibit 'C' are true and complete copies of the cover page, relevant pages of the testimony transcript, and signature page of the deposition of XXX, taken on 12/25/08, at which I was present."

Finally: "I declare under penalty of perjury under the laws of the State of California that the foregoing is true and correct."

Good luck! (Omit that from your declaration.)
