Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

what can i do to avoid owing money to a company that is suing me for breach of contract on a leased vehicle?...is there anything i can do besides fighting it?...i was only two months away from ending the lease and two payments behind , i tried to get them to help me but they refused to.

Not sure even fighting it will do any good. This isn't a mortgage subject to TARP fund obligations. You made a deal and you didn't keep it. Not a lot the law can do for you in that case. What you owe is an accounting exercise, not a legal one.
