Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

i bought a commercial truck about six yrs ago for rv transportation business that i had just started. my truck stalled on me out in the highway. called AAA . they dropped my truck from a flat bed. they did repairs but never did what was necessary for me to continue with my business. after fighting with them to repair my truck i eventually lost my business home and other personal belongings. i decided to surrender the truck . dealer sold the truck. collection agency was trying to collect the difference but because i had no job they put a lien on my home, my home was foreclosed and i just got a call from the collection agency trying to collect? can i do anything ? should i be held responsible

As between you and the collection agency, yes, you are responsible. Too bad you didn't have insurance to do all the repairs necessary to stay in business.
