My brother ran up the phone bill to $9,000 but the phone is in my name, my brother wont pay it so im stuck with it and its hurting my credit and costing me jobs. I told the phone company everything but they say its nothing i can do because the phone is in my name, what to do n this situation?

Stop smoking dope and letting other people run up debts in your name.

There is nothing you can do to get out of the debt. It is your debt since you agreed with ATT to pay for the phone. All you can do is sue your brother for it, get a judgment, and then use the enforcement of judgments process to collect.

The other thing you can do is read your bills and catch problem charges before they get to $9,000.

Mr. Stone's advice is pretty good too.
