Business debt

My business closed 07/07. I paid a vendor on 11/06, she has the check and did not cash it. She now demands payment 14 months later.

She has a lawyer involved. Amount of $179.20

Obviously, the funds would still be available since the check was never negotiated. Why not write a replacement check?!

Put a stop on the initital check if you need to and write a another.
