capitol one credit card company sued me in court ive tryed to settle with them but they would not take what I offered.The law firm for capitol one told me before she puts a lean on my property and garnish my wages. If I would like to settle with them. I said I dont have the money I can make payments. What can i do. for them not to garnish my wages.

Assuming you cannot suffer a 25% garnishment of your wages, and contingent upon other factors, bankruptcy can be a powerful and swift solution. Creditors do not have an incentive to accept small installments if they believe they can more effectively collect via garnishment, especially after investing in a lawsuit.

Once someone has a judgement against you, you have three choices only. 1. Pay them whatever you can talk them down to. If they won't go lower, you can't make them. 2. Let them garnish and lien until you have paid them, with interest. 3. Bankruptcy. There are no other options.
