car loan renegotiation by dealer

Signed a car loan contract for 4.54% with a major dealer. they call me the next day and said they made a mistake and I need to sign a new contract for 5.94% Do I go in?

Tell them to take a hike. If they make noises about repossessing the car tell them you will sue. Then hire a lawyer to write them a letter on the lawyer's letterhead (this should cost a maximum of about $50).

nope!! sounds like dealer b.s. / fraud to me. if they push it, i would recommend you sue.

For once a customer of a car dealership gets the better end of a deal. They can't make you come in, so I wouldn't. If they give you trouble, I agree that sending a nice letter from an attorney might do the trick.
