Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California
if my car was repossesed and not pay for it will my properties be taken away?

With regard to seizure of other properties, there are exemption laws that protect personal and real property and debts can be discharged in bankruptcy. Deficiencies pursuant to motor vehicle repossessions can be steep. Those car commercials, all gleaming chrome, open road, and pretentious voiceovers... translate into a lot of debt. I recommend consulting with a bankruptcy attorney in your area.

Seek legal counsel before acting or refraining from bankruptcy/legal action; its worth the cost. Okay, Im done.
