Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

Card Holder's Death

When the primary credit card holder dies, is the balance the responsibility of the surviving secondary card holder or of the primary card holder's estate?

In this case, only the primary card holder is listed at the top of the bill.

Re: Card Holder's Death

Nevertheless, to the extent that the decedent's estate is solvent, it is jointly responsible for the debt.
