do i have a case for small claims

i recently took out a small loan against an suv i own the company became the lien holder till the loans is paid off. i have a contract it was recently reposessed on the count that we had no liability and not full coverage. they got false information from the insurance co.on the contract it says if we fail to have insurance they will provide. they just came and took the suv on 1 days notice and said we defaulted on the loan can i sue for the return of the loan or suv 3500 dallars

Something does not add up. I have never seen a lienholder repossess the vehicle because of insurance. They normally place their own insurance and then charge you for that coverage. There has to be more to this.
