Re: caterer

Find another venue/caterer, and get the agreement in writing like grown-ups do. Then write to each of your guests, using blue or blue-black ink on white writing paper of course, and advise them of the change. Remember, the price of stamps has gone up. At least you didn't make a "verbal agreement" for the photographer -- did you?

Re: caterer

Your granddaughter can do any of the following:

1. Pay the new price, since she never got the old price in writing;

2. Move the location to a new location and get it in writing this time;

3. Sue the golf course and then see what kind of service she gets at the wedding.

The moral of the story: get it in writing.
