I have a civil judgement against me from an auto accident that has doubled from 14K to 24K. Can my wages be garnished?

Of course they can. I'm surprised they haven't done it already.

Please note that federal bankruptcy-filing is a very swift, conclusive remedy that stops garnishments immediately. It's a small investment to avoid giving up a quarter of your wages to attachment by the sheriff.

Yes.... your wages can be garnished and your bank account levied. If own real estate then a lien can be filed with the County Recorder's Office. You should consider filing bankruptcy if otherwise eligible. You should consult with a local bankruptcy attorney to get advice regarding bankruptcy.
