Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

Civil Judgement

EDD (Employment Development Department) filed a Civil Judgement against for over payment; the first one was filed in West Covina, May 2002 and the second one was filed in Bellflower in November 2002 I am not sure if this was fair or legal can you explain to me the correct process for filing a Civil Judgement against an individual--thank you

It seems odd that there could be two judgments on the same debt. We would need to review your paperwork in order to assist you further.
