collect payment from ex son in law

I pay every month on credit card bill for a roof and car for my daughter and son in law.

They are now divorced, he has the house, She has no job.

He will not pay me.Also I made 3 house payments,2 years ago,

He wont pay me. Can I Do anything Legal?

I have nothing in writing stating him to pay.

I do have the roof receipts showing his address, His signature,My creditcard,

I have receipt showing I made house payments.

If this was truly a loan, then they both owe the money. If it was a gift to the both of them, he owes you nothing.

You should first ask your daughter how this debt was dealt with in the divorce. There maybe a court order specifying who is supposed to repay the debt. You should get permission from your daughter to speak with her attorney. Once you get clarity on those issues, my office is only a few miles for myou and you may me for a consultation.

Was it a loan? Under $ 6k you may try small claims court.
