Collection agency contacting debtor on work cell phone

Is it legal for the collection agency to contact the debtor everyday on their company cell phone even after I have told them to stop and provided them with my personal phone number?

It is illegal for a debt collector to engage in a harrassing debt collection practice. Sounds to me like its practices are harrassing. The good news is that you can sue the debt collector and use the lawsuit as leverage to negotiate a settlement regarding the debt you owe.
