Collection

I bought a car in 1998 and volunteer for repo.

They later sell the car and I still owed the different. Now they said if i dont paid, they will

contact with my employer to collect that money.

Can they do that? please reply.

If the creditor has been granted a judgment against you for this debt, they can garnish your wages. You can file a claim of exemption if you qualify and stop the garnishment or reduce it from the maxium of 25% of your gross pay. There are forms available at your local courthouse for filing a calim of exemption.
