Collection Issue FRAUD

My Friend she might be sued by a fraud company. A company she never heard of, Never had a card through their company. They got in touch with her on 6/17/08 and said that she have a case about a bill that was past due from 2001. My friend....... her ex boy friend forged her name and social sec #.

The company stated that someone besides my friend has been paying the bill. My Friend told the company that she wants documents sent to her stating who have been paying the bill. The company said that they can't send that Information.

This Company has been threatning my friend with a court case. This is Fraud my friend has nothing to do with this matter. The company keeps calling her with court case threats.

What can she do?

Your Friend may have a good case for unlawful debt collection. She MUST NOT make any payments or promise to make a payment. She should deal with collection agencies only in writing. Have her call me.
