Collection Nightmare

After several days of incompetence, I

finally got the payment of an old

debt paid off with this credit

collection agency called Fidelity Info

Corp in Pacific Palisades, CA. They

promised me a letter by fax showing

a zero balance for my new apt, but

didn't send it. I called again at the

end of business and the girl who

answers the phone said they all left

for the day. What remedies do I have

if they don't send the letter

tomorrow?

There are fires in Malibu which could be frightening people in that area to go home early.

If you don't get a letter in a reasonable time (one day might not be reasonable), you can contest any negative on your credit reports.
