Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

I am in collections with a payment arrangement I missed one payment and I have a letter saying they are going to take me to court I plan on paying the missed payment with my next scheduled payment but now they are saying I don't pay them enough what can I do?

Let them take you to court, file your answer, and show up at trial and then they are likely to make another deal with you. However chances are if you pay the missed payment and they accept it they won't take you to court. If they do you can probably enforce the original agreement.
