Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

Collections proof of service

While checking my credit report i found i had a judgement against me in the form of $11,000. I was never served by mail or in person. The judgement was issued in my hometown that I have not lived in for close to 6 years. My parents had received a letter about 4 months ago claiming the collections agency was going to put a lien on their house, however, they did nothing about it, since I do not own their house. since the judgement has already been issued, what options do i have?
