Collections Rule 3.74

I have just received a notice of collections. What are my best options here?

Settle the debt with the collection agency, or if you have a substantial amount of other debt you cannot afford, consider bankruptcy. You can write back to the debt collector and dispute the debt requesting validation, however, that is not often very successful.
