Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

collections

WorldProfit is an internet company that makes big claims about making money on the internet. I signed up for it, follow procedures and never made a single dime. Nevertheless I payed the first 9 months for a total of 900 not including advertising. I can't pay the subscription anymore. They called me and threaten me to send me to a collection agency. Is there a way to dispute this. I know I signed up for it but they did not delivered on their promises and claims, as I see it, its an internet scam.

Now theyre telling me that I need to call customers even though this was never mention before signing up.

Also one of my upliners called me once and said that you didn't need to call anyone to make money, just to hang in there. I need advice please, what do you advice I should do.

thanks a lot

Re: collections

I advise you get an attorney to review your contract and, if appropriate, send a cease and desist notice.
