Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

Company credit card issues

The company I work for gave me a ''company credit card'' to use for buisness expenses. I later found out, the cc is in my name and is showing up on my credit report. The accountant for the company asked for my ss , but has never had my permission to procure a card in my name. Whan I try to get info on the status( balance info, payment history.) fromthe Cc issuer, I am unable, as I have no billing info to verify who I am.

How can I get this removed, and how, without my signature, can this have been issued...? any help will be appreciated. thanks. Grant.

Re: Company credit card issues

First, talk to your supervisor to explain that youi don't want it on your credit report. Ask them to close the account. If they don't comply write to the credit card company and explain that they were not authorized to procure the card in your name and ask that the account be closed. Also, write to all 3 major credit reporting agencies and explain the situation and request removal from your credit report.
