Contract. Amount is less than

$10,000. Had a summons served

today. The amount $3,718.35. on a

Credit idid not pay.

You have 30 days to answer or file another responsive pleading to the complaint. In the meantime, you might call the lawyer for the creditor and try to negotiate a lump-sum payment smaller than the amount being sought.
