co-sign laws

My husband co-signed a private school loan for his adult daughter. she graduated a year ago and has not looked for a job. My husband and I are making the payments. the total loan is $60,000.00 Do we have any legal recourse?

You could sue her for it, but does he want to sue his daughter?

He could work with the lender and obtain some deferments until she's ready to pay.
