How does one go about getting themselfs removed from a co-signer status for a auto loan with a clear history of good payments or how do I get this removed from my credit reports so that I may be able to purchase another auto?.

Re: Co-signer removal
You cannot just get yourself removed without the permission of the lender. You, along with the person for whom you co-signed, should approach the lender to see if they will remove you from liability on the loan. If not, the other party will need to seeif they can refinance it on their own.
If none of that works, you can send a letter of explanation to the credit reporting companies explaining that you are a co-signer on the loan. They will be required to print that information on your credit report, but are not required to remove it.
