credit card companie's law

I've been sued by capital one credit company and if I notbe able to pay on partial payment they are going put a judgement on my pay check.Is this legal or is there any way that you can help me with their action.

Yes, they have a right to sue you if you owe the money. Once they get a judgment, they can start garnishing your paycheck, and take up to 25% of your net monthly pay.

3 alternatives for handling include (1) hiring an attorney to negotiate a settlement for you that you can live with, or if that simply can't be done (2) filing a Chapter 7 bankruptcy which will eliminate most of your debts or (3) a Chapter 13 bankruptcy, which will allow you to make reduced payments over a 3 year period.
