A credit card company took me to court over an unpaid balance, the judge dismissed it with prejudice, do I have to pay them anything?

Lucky you. No. Keep a copy of the judgment in case the item shows up on your credit report or some collection agency sues you later on (it happens).

If it's been recently dismissed, if you participated in the litigation, you might be able to recover your filing fee and your attorney's fees, if any. But there's only a small window in which to file and serve your memorandum of costs.

'With prejudice' means they can not apply again at a later time to this or any other court to enforce the debt...and unless you voluntarily decide to write them a check, or give them money, there is no one that can force you to pay that debt. This is as good as it gets.

You may or may not have ever owed someone the money, but you will NEVER have a court order to pay, no judgment, no garnishment, no nothing....Home Free, zippo, zilch.
