credit card debt and statute of limitations

Since california law states 4yrs for statute of limitations on credit card accounts is there a way to have those removed from your credit record?

You can have old debts removed from your credit, but it doesn't have to do with the statute of limitations. Rather, the Fair Credit Reporting Act discusses when old debts need to be removed from your credit. This can be up to 7 years later.
