credit card default
The IRS seized my checking account
two years ago. My friend has been
paying my c. c. bills from her account
since then. I also issued her a couple
of different cards in her name which
she never used. If I default can the c.
c. companies go after her even
though all the charges made were in
my name? Don

Re: credit card default
They almost certainly can. Generally, when someone is added as an authorized user on a credit card account, they become additionally liable for the charges made on the account. Review the credit agreement, and have her check her credit report to see if they have been reporting the cards on her report.
