credit card finance charges

Does California permit additional finance charges after a credit card balance is paid in full? The bank is located in the State of Deleware.

No, the law is not allow such charges. However, you need to read the contract very carefully. There is usually a period of time between the date the bill is issued and the date that the bill is actually due. If you pay the bill outside of that window, they would be able to charge you interest for the time between the date the bill was issued and the date payment was received.
