Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

credit card fraud

My mother in law got a stroke, she cannot talk or walk. When they send her credit card in her house, one of the people who lives there used the card and charge $1800 dollars.How do we find out who did really use it coz there is 5 people in that house and can we sue the person who use it.

File a police report and let them figure it out. Also, get copies of the bills and you might be able to ID them based on what the card was used for.
